OFFICE HOURS

Monthly Legal Office Hours

You have some legal and/or business questions, but haven’t hired a lawyer yet. Schedule a strategy session to get the answers you need to move forward, as well as legal services and business support recommendations for your business. $325

Just want to see if we’re a good fit?

Submit our Contact Form with your project description and timeline.

We’ll review your request, and if we may be able to support you or refer you to another trusted expert, we’ll send you a link to book a strategy session ($325) on our next Monthly Legal Office Hour Day. We do charge for initial strategy calls, as it both protects our time and allows us to make the best use of your time by providing practical, actionable tips and resources during the call.

Looking for pro bono (FREE) legal support?

If you identify as a Black, Brown or LGBTQIA+ person of any gender and do not have the financial resources to invest in a strategy session, please inquire about our pro bono services. We are collaborating with a nonprofit organization to provide you with access to FREE coaching.

If you do not identify within those oppressed groups and do not have the financial resources to invest in a strategy session, please check out our low-cost masterclass and our DIY contract templates, as well as our free website legal checklist and legal tips on Instagram.

Kristen led an amazing Entrepreneurs Circle this week on the fundamentals/foundation of legal for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I’m so proud of her for sharing her wisdom and staying true to making legal work accessible in a different and much-needed way. BRAVA!
— Grace Kraaijvanger, Founder + CEO, The Hivery

Kristen rocked a guest expert session for my mastermind group! She broke down the legal basics for small businesses in a way that was so easy to understand and identified a couple straightforward steps members could take to better protect their businesses right away. She makes the complicated — and sometimes scary — topic of legality approachable.

Allison Schoop, Founder of Riveted + SVP Strategy at EXOS
Based on Kristen’s workshop, I negotiated better terms in my independent contractor agreement with a mission-driven tech company. They’re now paying me up front for a substantial portion of the services, instead of paying me after delivery, they can’t just cancel my services at any time without a reason any time they want, and so on. I felt nervous about sending my requested changes, but I had to remind myself none of these asks were unreasonable. Planning for the worst in a contract is being a good business person, not needy. And they accepted everything I asked for!
